"BB adapter"?

Hmm.. I would update to a sata hdd adapter (or ide to sata board with the OEM network adapter), as i just don't trust those old drives (Maxtor most likely).

Hmm.. You have a BC fat model?

Wow, That's insane!
Yes, BroadBand adapter. I was thinking of updating, but it works well and I don’t think the would be much speed difference due to hardware limitations.

My IDE drive is Maxtor. Lol

My PS3 is CECH-2501A. I don’t know if that’s the BC one.

No but if you don't care about best-ish* PS2 experience, memory cards (2010s meaning), history (downgrading), or multiboot - it's almost as nice as the 21xx series

* CECH-A and B (both unreleased in Europe) are so-incorrectly-called "full BC" models, CECH-C, D (unreleased), and E are "partial BC" and are actually inferior to software emulation for certain titles ie OutRun 2006, but of course you can force netemu on those but not gxemu on a console without PS2 GPU... and all of them suck compared to a real PS2 which has better PS2 compatibility ;) using at worst 1/3 the power

It's not about speed, more about reliability (and storage capacity), i just don't trust old IDE drives with my data, but you do you.

Then you can't play all ps2 games without issues. in this case, your ps2 is still very much useful.

Ehh it's probably going to be this or the crappy crippled european version of the play-yan (both CIB)... which despite likely being absymal sellers, are both easier and cheaper to find than the most common GBC game ever (pokemon silver)...

...speaking of which, being so common that I ended up with 2 around 2008 without even trying, I made an one-off version:

I guess standalone PC104 motherboards aren't exactly common, either?

Soxey, sounds like a knock-off Sony branded battery.

I don't know exactly how rare this item is, but it is an Jap version of a Tri-Star 64 Device:

I felt awesome when I was the only person in the whole collage campus to own one.
I had forgotten about this oddity.
I saw a Doctor V64 the other day on the market for £200.

In the past 7 months, my wife and I have gotten heavily into video game vinyl collecting now. It was a bad move because I've spent so much money on them, our current rarest pieces in our video game vinyl collection is Super Mario 64, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and Sonic The Hedgehog 3. I gotta stop before I have no money left. :rofl2:

I own 3 rare racing games: "Crazy Cars" and "Crazy Cars 2" by Titus (notorious for Superman 64) for the Atari ST and "OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast" the original PC version.

Crazy Cars, now that's a retro racing game I've not thought about since the 90s!

I had Crazy Cars III and Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 on the Amiga.
I also remember Road Rash was also a pretty fun bike racing game at the time.

Skidmarks & Super Skidmarks ended up been my favourite racing games I owned as a kid however.

I also have Lamborghini American Challenge on PC as CD-ROM form.
