Ohh, well, already said my "peace" here. Good point TheChield. I wish shadow well, and saw the tri-core thread. They are making GREAT strides there. Ninja is damn near tireless with linux stuff. Ukey posted updates lately also. Few games, few units sold for the Wii U; made sense to focus on 3Key first;-) There are awesome hardware specialists out there. Not sure if there are there anymore but Marcan/Sven had a lot of pictures up with devices soldered to the Wii U. Maybe shadow will finish his work and share, OR keep it to a few people. Time will tell.

Maybe but NOT the nand.. He tries to dump the nand to do a back up... That can't be read nor exploited !
Don't think it was f0f purpose when they solder to nand...Can't speak for them...
Watch the nand bus (if it can be called a bus...) to see what is the real init of the component ?
Nand dump can't be done as is (watch the datasheet, as I already said it to Shadow...)

I dont mean to be rude Shadow Lag but as you have experience in the 360 scene did you not expect this? Unless you have a rep like fof and the like, people will always call you out. As someone with experience I would of expected you to know that you need thick skin to do this and be open about it. Again no disrespect, Iv enjoyed this thread and your input, even if it is or is not up to task.

"Thick skin" is the best way to put it. No matter where you go, you will always have people questioning you. Arguing with them doesn't make it any better. Typing paragraphs to prove them wrong not only encourages them to flame more, but also makes the whole thread look bad. Instead of ignoring them, you let them get to you.

I'll answer here and tell what I (my own opinion, doesn't involve other moderators) think of all these forum's drama.
I'm tired of doing the police with uneducated kids fighting each other and remove always the same type of posts.

I usually let people speak their mind. It's a forum where you can speak freely, for good and bad result. it's the user's action which determine the forum's reputation (and you know which reputation it has).
Users only get what they deserves. If they are not capable of accepting someone providing his time and work freely to other people, without calling him suspicious, attacking him based on previous work and reputation, then it's not the moderator's job to educate these kids. At least, I don't see my position as someone who need to tell users what they NEED to post in order to help developers and hackers to achieve their goal. I'm not their mother, I'm not a firewall nor a spam filter. If we want a clean forum with only developers posting, then all the posts would be moderated before being made visible.
I moderate the forum for the forum, I remove illegal links, warn on wrong behavior, insults, etc., but I'm not here to take the hands of users to explain which word to use and that if they are not friendly they will be punished. I'm not deleting posts for developers to complete their project without clash, they don't need this forum for their project, they post here in the first place because they want to share, but if you can't accept it then they stop doing it. Do not think people owe you things and are forced to post things here or provide them to you at all (here or another site).
3DS and WiiU section is filled with kids who can't wait and appreciate other peoples work, only ask the same question over and over, troll, post crap and offtopic everywhere without caring for their comrades who would like to follow a specific subject. The only result you get is that people who can achieve what you really seek are leaving you behind because they don't have faith in you anymore, they don't have interest nor desire to release anything for ingrate people like you.
You build your own situation. If you want things to change, start changing your behavior.

And this is why we can't have nice things here. Mods who don't give a shit that the community they are responsible for nurturing and guiding has a reputation for being full of 12 year old rude children (or man children) who are more interested in scoring Internet points than being constructive and productive, or even nice.

It's called the banhammer. If the same users constantly post nothing but troll comments and flame bate, then ban them. If you don't want to look at xda, then look at polygon. Same kind of community, but friendly and relatively troll free thanks to moderators and effective self moderation tools.

This community needs to grow up. And it's the people who moderate the community who are ultimately responsible for providing the motivation for it to do so.

This idea was also for super slim ps3 and 360 carona v2. Read/write. In theory, why not read/write raw? Read before messing around, fubar, write raw? Cannot decrypt (us). I read thread on ps3hax about Emmc, as deadlyfoez pointed it out. I did not follow up but wiiubrew bad Emmc stuff.

What details are missing? I want facts as to why that info means the Emmc cannot be read. No offense, but if Sven said so, I'd believe it. Also, Sven and others did have some interesting devices soldered to Wii U. I saved the pics as I like hardware "stuff.".

I want to say Sven said it is encrypted and questioned dual boot. Paraphrasing as he posted once in this thread. Anyway, trying to make sure I am not missing anything.
