Just wanted to see if we could get some stuff done to try and determine externally what chip we have. Heres whats been said so far
In Europe consoles with the serial: LEH1100etc or above, Quite common to have D2B
LEH110xyzx OR ABOVE -> common D2B (like me, sigh)
LEH10xyzxy OR LESS -> quite rare D2B
US Wii Purchased 1/29 SN LU1054xxx has the D2B chipset. End of SN in box is a 6
US Wii purchased 1/29 SN LU5074xxx has the DMS chipset End of SN in box is a 4
US Wii purchased 11/19 (launch) SN LU1005xxx has the DMS chipset. End of SN in box is 2
LU1037 (US) - DSM
LU3041xxxxxxxxx - DSM
LU303xxxxxxxxxx DSM
LEH102888... DMS
LEH1004xxxxx - DMS
Aparently what one person saw regarding the numbers in the boxes at the end:
0,3= D2A
2,4,5 = DMS
6 = D2B
Please help in posting your serial numbers and numbers in the box at the end so we can maybe find more patterns
