Hardware Seagate (goflex) 1 Terra

Anyone have been able to make it works?!

usbloader loader display the game but nothing work, wiiflow crash at the startup.

Setting is FAT32 (15gigs for Application) NTFS (Rest of space, for game)

WiiFlow sees the games? If it sees the games, but they don't load, it's more than likely a cIOS issue. What version of WiiFlow are you using? (What base IOS?) Is WiiFlow crashing when you load WiiFlow or when you load a game? Post a syscheck report of your system.

the same drive works perfectly for me formatted as fat32 and using configurable usb-loader

Kiing is probably right, it sounds like a cIOS issue, if u install a cIOS249rev18+, usb-loading off of non-wbfs partitions should start working (or hermes v4+)

Thanks everyone for your help, more information :

My wii was hacked with the latest modify43.zip from here, so my ios i think it's all okay.

My usbloader is rev60 - ios222 (i will try ios249).
My wiiflow is rev... eee... latest googlecode from 3-4 day... also ios222.

Notice, everything work fine with a lot of hd (the most common i use it's a seagate 1terra on a docking).

So i cloned my hd to a Seagate goflex 1 terra (for a friend), i plug it on my wii and i have some strange failure.

First off, most of time, Homebrew channel don't see it, just unplug/plug the power cord fix this (i know there is a patch for the apm function from seagate).

The fat32 partitions always work, all my applications are listed on homebrewchannel.

When i choose wiiflow, blackscreen displaying something like "loading please wait..." on the screen, my dvd drive start flashing like hells and nothing happen.

When i choose usbloader, All the games from the ntfs partition are visible, but if a choose a game for playing, my wii freeze.

So, i will put ios249 application instead of ios222 version. if nothing change, i will convert the ntfs to a fat32 partition, if nothing good again, wbfs partition.

It definitely sounds like an IOS issue from that example. Try reinstalling the cIOS (cIOS only.) I'd recommend you stick with WiiFlow 249, anyways, and just set your music games to 222/223 if you use them. You should stick with FAT32 for games + homebrew. Forget the rest.

numerous issues with fat32 for me.........all mine work fine with WBFS. And I havent seen a seagate drive that doesnt work as of yet, but I havent tried any 1 TB drives yet.

If anyone buy this one, i think this information will be usefull :

Everything with IOS222 (at 6 october 2010, nothing work).

The only way is : usbloader cfg (ios249), everything work fine! (Tested : wbfs, fat32 and ntfs).

Good soft usbloader, but i prefer wiiflow.

Cool hd enclosure from seagate, good price in canada, but buy another one if you can!

Honestly I have tried using Wiiflow twice but both times some games didnt work so I stick to CFG and GX.

Still may try it again soon...their GUI is sweet.
