Hacking save transfer to different region?

so someone in the world ends with you board on gamefaqs says that if you are playing the European version of the game on their r4 and when the american version comes out, you can switch the save file from E to U. he was all saying it will work because they are the same game but different region. is this true? i never tried it myself.

i dont know to be honest. but i think it wont work.
the tex will be different as americans spell color and the eu spell colou[/]r
that might affect it. and the games might be coded differently.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It varies by game, and there is no way to know if it will work other that trying it. If the region you want to play hasn't been released yet you will have to take the chance that you will not be able to use the same save.

There really isn't much reason to worry though. You can just play through the European version if the save won't work on the US release. It's not like it's a different game.
