It happens when it says loading dlc
It honestly sounds like you have the DLC either installed incorrectly or from the wrong region/game version

I havnt touched the 360 in a hot minute so I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

But I remember having a similar issue a few years back

I encountered this problem myself. My problem was a mismatched game update or DLC, I forget which one.
Make sure you have the correct update installed for your version of the game.
that and check where you are installing everything, for me just ripping the iso, and copying the files to the hard drive always worked

also check to make sure your game/dlc does not have any corruption in it, run a hash/checksum, only thing with that is you need a known good one to check against

Hey, if you have the DLCs installed (from disc 2) the game will freeze for about 40~50 secs reading the dlc data in the title screen, there's no way around that. If you don't have the dlcs installed, then it shouldn't freeze, btw i recommend installing the game to the internal hdd and playing with disc.
Apart from all that, I would HIGHLY recommend against playing Skyrim on the 360 as it's littered with issues, random crashes & issues, this comes from a guy who went through +150hrs of it going through all the aforementioned issues before i called it quits.
Seriously, even if it's your only option to play this game i'd say wait a little until you get a nice pc or one of the consoles that you can play the Special Edition/Anniversary Edition on.
For the meanwhile you could try Oblivion, it has WAY less issues..

Interesting, you may be right. I'm not sure if title id is the same across regions or if only media Id is different. Another possibility is unlocked dlc with legit game. Not sure if an rgh would have a problem with it or not.

I believe the different released editions, like Legendary Edition, require different update files, or might crash if you have certain DLC installed.

I have no title updates because none are available online through aurora. All dlc is from my disc
There's a few in the Unity store. Are you connected to your account? You have to be connected in order to download updates.
Do you have the latest Aurora?
Or you could just get them from *elsewhere.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

There are no title updates for media id 425307E6

From my understanding, a fatal crash can happen with dlc and no title update

Removed dlc. Boots just fine. I need a title update for this.

Maybe someone could direct me to where I need to go in a PM?

Not sure what release is that, pal or ntsc, or what version (original or LE), though i think most of them are the same, apart from the Japanese version iirc.

Nope, as it's against the rules.
Like i said, Aurora has the updates, try there with your Unity account linked. Or search online, Archive.org has them iirc.

No, unity does not have the update for this ntsc USA ver( Legendary).
I have the update on my disk. The only problem is it says title update.bin. how do I know what to rename it or will it just automatically know what to do with it given it is in the proper folder? there are a lot of people that are having the same problem I am having especially when you are installing the DLC from the second disc to the Xbox itself. I am speaking of retail 360s.

I think I figured it out. Doing a reinstall. Update soon
So all DLC and title has been reinstalled. Title update is recognized in the proper folder. I still get a crash upon booting if I have the DLC installed. Again remember this is all from a brand new copy from the store of Skyrim legendary. It as if the DLC files have problems with them.

Drop it in Horizon and transfer it to a fat32 usb drive, it will appear on storage devices and move it to the internal hdd there. Btw, in Aurora you need to select the update in order to boot with it, and when you click the home button it'll show the update version on the bottom right corner.

Rip game, check media id if missing update, then go to Xbox unity website, download manually.

I think you meant to quote the other guy? ^_^
media id 425307E6
i think that's the title id for the standard release, unless it uses the same title id between both the standard and the Legendary Edition release. If that's the case, the update for the standard game will work..

The title update is on the disc 2. I have used both an RGH and a retail unit. And both of them have problems extracting information from the second disc. When you go through the installation process on the retail the second disc freezes the console. Or it just gives you a fail to install one of the dlcs. It is not specific to which DLC it is. it looks like there are a ton of people with this problem. This goes all the way back to from what I see 2013. The title update on mine is title update 10. the title update works just fine and does not crash and neither does this one. But anything from disc 2 crashes even a retail unit. This is why I say I think I got a bad burn and so did many other people from Bethesda

I did this on the retail unit. And then on the RGH I did the manual going into the disc and transferring files

Now that's an entirely different thing from the game update issue you were having. There's nothing else to say if the disc damaged or scratched.

I never ever said that the disc was damaged or scratched. I said it was a bad copy from Bethesda
