Hardware Replace Tokin with capacitor?

I'm trying to figure out the issue with my Phat PS3. It currently will boot up, but then about 5 minutes later will beep and have a flashing red light. It isn't a YLOD issue. Do I still need to replace the NEC/Tokins with AVX Capacitors?
