This save editor has been discontinued by me, I will not provide support for this anymore largely due to me not having a 3DS anymore.
Here's a more updated forked version of this save editor: Here
If you are looking to edit the Switch's version of MHXX, look here.
Hello, I made a MHXX Save Editor largely based on @APM's MHGen/MHX Save Editor, which you'll see the resemblance of.
If you have any issues or suggestion you may post them here.

It may be possible to transfer your edited MHXX save file from the 3DS/2DS to the Switch version and back. Refer to this link.
However, there's a limit of 5 times in transferring the save files.

- Be very careful when editing HR levels/points as they may lead to messing up your save. I'd recommend that you leave those untouched and just level up the normal way. If you insist on editing it, then please make sure you have unlocked your HR/GR.
- Palicoes need to follow a few rules to make them valid, see section about editing palico.
- Check Kiranico regarding equipment's slots and level before editing your equipment. Editing them wrongly might cause problems in the game.
- Highest level for Kinsects is 20 (as far as I can tell), I tried maxing out mine but it resulted with the Kinsect being extremely slow but strong.
If in any case you get errors with using the editor, make sure you have .NET Framework 4.0 installed.
Also, check your hunter and palico equipment and item box for "(None)" items/equipment, remove them in the game as the editor will not work with those.
Any invalid equipment will show up in red color in the save editor, avoid editing them or you will crash.

Ever since MHX, palicoes have rules on what skills or actions that they can learn or use. A good explanation on this subject (for MHGen) can be found here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/apm-mhx-mhgen-save-editor.434421/page-21#post-6536347
As far as I can tell, MHXX seems to also apply the same rules. Palicoes of all fortes have their own RNG for skill and action with the exception of Charisma cats.
I'll try to roughly explain it here:
A = 3, B = 2, C = 1 where in total should be 8 for any cat with the exception of Charisma cats being 9.
Any cat's (except Charisma) action and skill RNG can be one of these: 'CCCCCCCC', 'BBCCCC', 'BBBCC', 'BBBB', 'ACCCCC', 'ABCCC', 'ABBC'. So each in total is 8.
Charisma cats just have an extra 'C' in their RNG, so just follow the RNG above and add a 'C'. The only other special RNG Charisma cats have is 'ABBB', only specifically for Charisma cats.
So what these RNG mean is that only skills/actions in that group (A, B or C) can be slotted in that palico. Putting anything other what your cat's RNG will make the cat invalid and the game will strip your cat of its skills/actions whenever you go on quests. Putting anything more than 8 or 9 will also break your cat's validity.
