Hacking R4i Gold Pro: no icon just blank

Hey

I bought a R4i Gold pro to install cfw etc... Now when i put the R4i in my Nintendo 3ds there's nothing there no application to open just a blank field. i have tried in with a Micro card and without none working. The R4i did show a game the first day i had it and didnt bought a Micro card. I tried to ask help on the website were i ordered it but they just misunderstood me and said the case was closed. I also have tried cleaning it iwth some alchohol and used the paper fix. nothing worked

Hope someone will help. Apparently i cannot upload screens since im a newbie, otherwise i couldve shown the problem

Btw if u meam firmware with fw. I could enter the bomberman island for the first time use then i followed the instruction of the 3DS guide. Pressed a to continue> Selected flashcard > inject ntrboothax > retail > continue then i exited i was ready for installing the stuff on my SD Card but when i inserted the R4I back in to my 3ds it didnt regonize it and there was no Bomberland icon.

Yeah sorry just saw that i putted the backup.bin in the sd card/ntrboot and in the flashcard. Still dont have bomberman icon to open the flashcard

you need to reflash it using ntrboot_flasher
when booting the 3DS press start and you will have an option to select ntrboot_flasher or godmod9

Do i need the magnet thingy for this or do i just press power+start at the same time (when i do that it just starts up normally)

no, no need for a magnet to start the chain loader, just follow the instructions:
(the SD card here is the 3DS SD card, not the R4's SD card)

Instructions

1. Power off your device
2. Insert your SD card into your computer
   • This is the SD card from your 3DS, not the SD card from your flashcart
3. Create a folder named ntrboot on the root of your SD card
4. Copy backup.bin from your flashrom backup .zip to the /ntrboot/ folder on the root of your SD card
5. Create a folder named payloads in the luma folder on your SD card
6. Copy ntrboot_flasher.firm to the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card
7. Reinsert your SD card back into your device
8. Insert your ntrboot compatible DS / DSi flashcart into your device
9. Launch ntrboot_flasher by holding (Start) during boot
10. Read the red screen warning
11. Press (A) to continue
12. Select your flashcart
    • If you do not see your flashcart in the list at the top, read the bottom screen for more info on each option
13. Select “Restore Flash”
14. Press (A) to proceed
15. Wait until the process is completed
16. Press (A) to return to the main menu
17. Press (B) to power off your device

wait, where the other files? did you completely installed CFW on your 3DS? can you launch luma's settings when pressing select during boot?

No i have not yet installed cfw cause i cannot enter the bomberland island to do the first part of the setup on the 3ds guide.
