Hacking R4 DS UsrCheat Not Working

Hi, I Just started Using My R4 On My ds And Ive Noticed When I Push "Y" And Then "X" On The Game Selection on The Main Menu It shows My List of Cheats. My Problem Is that When i edit The Cheats and Put new Ones on The Usrcheat And copy It to My R4 When i Turn The Main menu On it Doesnt Show The new Cheats, Only The preloaded Ones. What do I Do?

It helps a lot if you tell which kernel software you are using. If you are using the software that came with the card then also the kind of R4 is needed. For example:

Are you running the original 1.18 software on a original R4 or running the software that came with your R4 clone card? If it is a clone, do you have any idea what kind of clone (what is the support website, what does the label and box say, what version number does your kernel software have?

Or are you running a third party kernel like Wood R4 or YSmenu? In that case the kind of R4 is less relevant (assuming it is working correctly) since these look the same on all R4 types (supporting it).

This info is needed because all these kernels work a little bit different. It is hard to give you directions to check or change settings if this basic info is missing.

That's not the original R4 website, that's the site of a different cart calling itself an R4.
