Depending upon what you want to call PC (these might be more of an Amiga base, though if you did not have an Amiga then you would likely have been playing DOS versions if you were able to) then Cannon Fodder (hard to find nowadays but https://web.archive.org/web/2012060....com/pages/ds/jeuxdev.-perso/cannonfodder.php *) and Lemmings DS ( http://www.mrdictionary.net/lemmings/ ) ought to be noted.

*alekmaul did a whole bunch of ports of things to the DS in addition to cannon fodder. Codename Hacker being a basically remake of Chip's challenge that most would know from various Microsoft game packs. For whatever reason the DS ports/games/whatever seem to be gone from the website above but hey.

Liero DS (port of liero, kind of like worms which does have some homebrew things even if people would probably point at the commercial worms 2 game) https://pdroms.de/nintendo-nintendods-nds-ds/liero-ds-23-10-2009-nds-game I will note in this and was a DOS game. Scanning through pdroms will probably also reveal a bunch more that I have forgotten here. https://pdroms.de/?s=nds+remake&post_type=post only searches for things mentioning remake so might want to expand that out to all DS stuff.

http://retrorocketgame.org/ could be worth noting here.

openttd (transport tycoon deluxe) did see some things attempted here.

Various roguelikes were also ported. Personally I like http://www.zincland.com/powder/index.php?pagename=about instead and it does note some of the others if you did want to go there.

Elite got a port to the DS, and was in line with the DOS version I used to play.

Jazz Jackrabbit saw a few things attempted here, not sure what goes for some of the other platformers of similar vintage.
That is a lot of ports. Thanks for the help!

Do you still have access to the .nds file for elite-ds? I play the GBA version a lot but would love to play the actual DS port on my GB macro...

Seemingly not. Grabbed an old hard drive which had many wondrous pieces of now rare and hard to come by GBA and DS homebrew.

Can consult some old SD cards but most of those get cycled in and out enough that it might not have made it.

Has eliteagb-0.6.zip mentioned but downloads seem thin on the ground. Most of my old choices for French homebrew sites (previously good places to find mirrored stuff) also seem to be gone these days as well or don't mention it.

Aperture Science is an original game inspired by Portal. It's not a source port or interpretter. All the code and assets are original.

The actual DOSbox port doesn't do much, but there's an emulator called DSx86 that emulates a 286 very well. The version for the DSTWO (DS2x86) emulates a 386 up to about 40MHz.

To add to the list of ports, there's a couple good ports of REminiscence to the DS for playing Flashback.
Aperture DS is all right, it's just not great. It gives me cramps. (although it might be my large hands that are a factor)

There are very few people I just have just an immense dislike of and he's one of those very few people, the only other example is Gene Simmons. My musician uncle on my mother's side of the family actually met Gene once during some event and said he was the most unpleasant person to be around.
