I have to be honest, I liked Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine more; the silly cartoony characters just don't really do it for me when compared to Dr. Robotnik, Scratch, Grounder and the rest of the bad-bots. Gameplay in Puyo Pop is fantastic though; regrettably, I don't have the game anymore.
