Is there a site that shows all the scene release for ps3, kinda like abgx?

Also if you were to get an iso of a ps3 game, can you extract it and put in the folder like you wiuld with others and it would work?

Hi guys,

i just stumbled over this post. I want to let you know that theres one very nice new multiplatform, multiregion Console Scene Release database out there now :)
For now it features about 25.000 scene releases from all regions and systems. More coming soon!

Check it out: http://www.nforush.net

Absolutely warez free !!!

Nice to see ConsoleNews mentioned here... reminds me on good old times ;P

5 releases per page is a little hard to browse.
you should make the list bigger ;)

the design reminds me the last days of console-news.org (before it was bought by logic sunrise).
It had nfo for a lot of consoles too.
It missed me for retro release. I hope you can fill that :)

For the record I rock up without javascript and
gallery_32303_144_32724.png

Navigation still works which is always nice (so many javascript sporting sites want it for navigation).

Equally NFOs fail to work without javascript but that is slightly more acceptable (probably does not quite fall under basic site functionality).

Nice to see something with points though... can't remember the last time I saw a web facing preDB with points noted (granted I tend not to go looking for new ones unless I want a specialist one). Nuke and console charts are definitely a bonus and if is fast to update it will certainly win a place among my bookmarks.

Thanks for pointing that out!

I will rebuild the way you navigate through site. instead of switching sections with javascript (show/hide)
i will give every main section (latest, browse and dupecheck) its very own page. Transitions will remain as smooth
as they are now :)

Its not only javascript that makes me do that but also i could run into a bad seo mistake > display: none;

btw. I have complete Dreamcast ready for import ;)

The points are nice, though they are inaccurate atm. Working on a SQL Query to assign proper points.
And you better Bookmark the site right now ;P because all your wishes most likely will come true.

Thanks for your feedback, very much appreciated.
Its up to you to get a fuc$§ng nice site ;P not only me.

...an online, flash-based NFO reader...

Thanks for pointing that out :) but flash is dead.

The only thing why nfos wont show up is cause the div where it is stored in is hidden and slides down via jquery.
i can easily remove it, the fx will be gone but it will work as expected. nfos being displayed as png... wich every old and new browser can read.

flash is an absolutely no go.

btw, i´m webdesigner, seo analyst and one main purpose of this project is just that i want to have a project where i can test my skillz.
I dont even have a Television at home, and not a single game console :) You wouldnt believe, but its true heh.

btw.. just saw you (gbatemp) are ranking good on my main keyphrases :)
lets battle for positions ;P

ps3 scene releases / xbox360 scene releases / ....

My target is #1 in google globally tbh. :D Let´s see how long it takes.

Oh and big respect to you GBATEMP Fellas, great site, great stuff!

btw Costello,

i´d suggest to show nfos as png, its readable everywhere and implement a switch to text version and then even on lynx nfos work.
if you want :) we could chat about working together in some way, i deliver nfos to you and you deliver news to me.
I dont know whos the head of GBATEMP but you can send me pm and we can exchange contactinfo, skype or irc...

think about it, i´m up for anything that gives users better experience and even better if we both can benefit.

no rush though :)

Costello is one of the admins and main site developer (with tj_cool doing a lot as well) so yeah speak to him if you want to pursue this more (we do have an IRC network . A few of the members and some staff around here tried a similar thing once as well (rlsmonkey I believe it was although it seems the domain was gobbled up since leaving you with http://web.archive.org/web/20100330155049/http://rlsmonkey.com/ and not much else) that took an IRC feed of release info and attempted to couple it with the likes of amazon and other such shops/sources and NFO sources which worked quite well for a while but you are probably the last person I have to explain the perils of site scraping to.

Personally although I am not that sure console releases is much of a growth field (most are seeing the increased security and not expecting as much of an easy ride as the previous and current consoles which are all winding down or set to in the not too distant future) and GBAtemp is changing a bit to reflect it but a console predb (partnership or otherwise) would be a nice addition.

Speaking of which Costello if we could have an NFO tag that would be nice- the codebox was broken for NFO posting during the update (not that it was every really accurate) and the inline style and pre tags workaround works well enough I guess (although I dislike having to do manual linebreaks) but a proper method would be better.

About the nfo we had on gbatemp, nfo as png is good, but there are often URL in the nfo.
Having a text version available too is good to click on links or copy/search any words.
Ludibria adds on the page the links mentioned in the nfo.

I think the flash based reader is good, it extract URL automatically.

the pre tag and font solution is good too, like this one.
I prefer this solution as other Firefox extensions are working too (like Autocopy, open in new tab, etc.) while the flash solution doesn't allow that.

When I read a NFO and go back 1 page in navigation history, the latest release list doesn't appear. It needs a refresh to see it again.
I have javascript enabled.
