I am sorry for posting my question here, I am a newbie on this site so i dont know how things work around here... The problem I have is with saves of certain games... I really, and I mean REALLY want to play Legacy of Goku II and Buu's Fury on my NDS via Supercard mini sd, but it wont save - not with quick save nor with real time save... I have the latest kernel sd_185, and i have the Super Card SD v2.71 patcher. Every game that i patch I output in the folder on the desktop then I copy them into the folder on the sd card, and every game that I patched this way worked as charm, except for the Legacy of Goku trilogy... fun fact, when I launch the patcher normally and try to patch ROMS, most of them do not get patched... only when i start the patcher as an administrator the whole process works for all the ROMS I patch... Also, I have the original cartridge of Legacy of Goku and it works perfectly fine on my NDS... Here are the problems with Legacy of Goku games:
- Legacy of Goku - when i try to start the game it says "this program will not run on the hardware found"
- Legacy of Goku II - the game works, it is prefectlly playable but when i try to "quick save" or "real time save" the screen for these commands doesnt even appear... the in game save works until I shut down NDS or switch the game on Supercard, afterwards the save is lost
- Buu's fury - the game is perfectly playable, it allows me to both "quick save" and "real time save" but when i get into the tournament part it says "the game will not run on this hardware"
I searched for a solution for these problems, but most solutions were for the PC GBA emulators, and those were to change the save type to EEPROM, 128K... I havent found a way to do that on the Supercard... other solutions were to patch roms with IPS files (if that is what they are called) - did that, and it didnt work...
Is there a way to upgrade an built in emulator on the Supercard (if it even uses one) or to patch these ROMS to work properly..? Please help because I am really getting frustrated after so many attempts to fix the problem...
