After awhile you'll find merchants to sell your shitty pickups to and then buy arrows for pretty cheap.
Oh i already fond 2 merchants in the wild, one of them being Beedle, but I'm a hoarder so i only sold my old pants..

does this game have dungeons? does it follow the zelda formula basically? it's starting to sound like the game has become too westernized. does it feel like zelda aside from u being link and all?

thanks, I'll try out the usa version once it's released. :)
fyi, with 4 spirit orb, you can get a heart container OR a stamina vessel, which add 25% of a wheel around your stamina wheel

so heart containers r still present? r they like heart pieces?
I havent seen any heart container piece so far, but you get a spirit orb for each shrine you complete, then you go to the godesse statue in the temple of time, pray, and exchange 4 spirit orb for a Heart container, not like 1 spirit orb for a heart container piece

Not if the weapon was used already by the enemy, then it's already half broken, not to mention there's no indicator of of how much durability is left on the weapon. I ran into a big ogre boss, i used all my weapons on him and couldn't beat him....the arrows are super scarce as well.
You have a indicator. In the Weapon menu:
have a little star - new
flashing red - Near end
didn't checked for all states but yeah, all i know yet

Thing you picked up:
I blindly ignored everything until I stole a roasted apple from the old man before even talking to him. :D

Person you talked to (after the the old man)
No one yet, except for those shrine guards and Zelda's voice.

First wildlife creature caught
./.

Weapon used
The old man's axe, then a Bokoblin club.

Kill
A Bokoblin

Death
That strange one-eyed laser pointing creature near one of the shrines killed me instantly when I tried to fight it.

Clever stupid trap/self-kill
Near the shrine with the time stopping puzzles I tried to bomb away a huge rock. It didn't work and I was too close to the explosion, so I got wounded, fell from the cliff and died from the fall - after spending many minutes to even get up there. (Thankfully there was an auto-save)

Location you discovered
A hidden cave containing some fire arrows.

Meal you cooked
I don't know how to... Standing in front of bonfires or pots there's no option to cook. Guess I'm missing a tool or something?

Thing you picked up: Literally picked up--barrel. Inventory item: Shrooms on a rock.
Person you talked to: Guy on a bridge who was talking about those mechas.
First wildlife creature caught: Frog.
Weapon used: Firey Stick.
Kill: Boko-bum.
Death: SWAMP. FUCKING DECEIVING SWAMP.
Clever trap/kill: Magnetic drop skull crush.
Location you discovered: T.o.T.
Meal you cooked: Five apples. Burnt to a crisp: Five apples.

Easily will become THE best Wii U game. It's great this was the last AAA game. Sad it's the last AAA game. And as far as Switch is concerned, until MK8D, it's the only (Switch) game (worth life- immersion.)

I'me loving all these responses!

Go into your menu, then you hold the food (in the menu), then leave the menu, stand near a pan with a fire, then you drop it!

Thing you picked up
tree branch (megaweapon =)

Person you talked to
Err. Does the time statue thing count?

First wildlife creature caught
hopping frog or whatevs

Weapon used
megaweapon XI (tree branch)

Kill
prolly a boko

Death
drowning 5cm from safety crossing a trickle stream & I didn't even realise u could/would even drown!

Clever trap/kill
realising that *spoiler* bombs fell trees *end* when said tree fell on a load of chasing bokos that I was trying 2 bomb; it squished em all! Or rolling explosive barrels into fires, DK style! Or shoving boulders into hordes of bokos.. or...

Location you discovered
not rly location, but a "secret" about a location *spoilers*. Getting on a wild horse before talking to the guy @ the ranch lets u complete the 2min horse rustling trial in ~1 second! *end*

Meal you cooked
spicy apple. It took me ages 2 realise that the cooking "pot" was already on firewood, and is not actually a pot!

do u know if u get equipment like the hookshot in dungeons?

I managed to discover a boomerang, just messing around. It's an amazing game, don't worry about there not being enough options. There's too many!
