You are feeding an illegal value into memory which is resulting in a value of 0 coming out. (While thankfully no horror stories have come up, I am unfortunately responsible for that E0 usage being spread. So, once we were explained it was an error resulting in the 0 instead of properly being set to 0 the proper listing has been shared by those who know since.)
