Wow, you absolute do not!

You are speaking about the CLONING GLITCH. Which everyone knows about, there's dozens of videos on YouTube, like this one: .
This video as well as EVERY other specifically states it's achieved with the ENCOUNTER MODIFIER code.

I maintain the codes list over HERE: https://gbatemp.net/threads/pokemon-sword-shield-v1-2-0-cfw-emu-cheat-codes.567806/ for all v1.2.0 codes which are available for BOTH Sword & Shield. I have the new v1.2.0 version of the Encounter code on said thread.

More to the point!! @osaka35, you are literally asking for someone to do this for you BECAUSE you don't know how! (WHICH IS IMPRESSIVE SINCE EVERY VIDEO HAS TOLD YOU WHICH CODE TO USE!)

As I said, I only used the glitch for the cloning of Pokémon. I never tested it while still on v1.1.0 with other people so as I stated do not know about the Raid Rewards glitch when hosted. Still none the less... the WORDS: IT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE seems to ellude you. The glitch has been known about for a LONG time now. If you don't believe me, do it yourself... have fun!

It seems you finally got around to looking into what I was talking about. Again, it usually goes by "missingno raid", but it's also known as "god egg", "missingno god egg raid", or "cloning glitch", but most people use "missingno raid" to refer to it and the x999 items at the end of the raid and the god egg. Next time, it wouldn't hurt you to assume someone is not a clueless idiot when you come across a term you haven't seen or heard before, or at least take half a second to figure out rather than assume you know everything and try and 'splain something to someone. Talking down to people isn't going to win you any favours. Regardless, I'm glad you've read up on it and can answer my questions properly. Thank you for doing that.

I try to avoid watching youtube videos on the topic as these things move quickly. And looks like I was right to avoid them, if what you say is true about it not working anymore. Saved me a lot of time troubleshooting. If you look back at my original comment and read it properly this time, you'll find I was asking if anyone had information about it. I wasn't assuming someone was going to just make a code, I was asking what the current state of it was. You came at me and talked down to me as if I was wanting missingno in the game or something, and you skipped the part about knowledge of editing the exefs, knowledge of there being a code in usage at some point, and the fact I said "missingno raid" and not "missingno".

Seriously. All I wanted was updated information on the state of code used and if anyone could point me in the right direction. Thanks for trying to get the information, even if you were incredibly rude.

I try to avoid watching youtube videos on the topic as these things move quickly.

These things don't move quickly... there's a reason why I said this was common knowledge and it had been for months. The purpose of skimming multiple sources such as YouTube is to be current & topical. You sound like a crazy person referring to the EGG CLONE GLITCH as a "Missingno Raid."

It's important to spend a little effort to be up on the topic and the language surrounding it. Never take things from one source OR just yourself. I just spoke with a friend on the topic. I was advised to re-test with a fresh install of EdiZon. I was able to replicate the EGG CLONE GLITCH, @osaka35 in v1.2.0 after that. I am traded the EGG over to both of those OFW saves and used them to clone mons.

knowledge of editing the exefs
In terms of Raid rewards, both of the OFW Switches that joined in the Raid received the normal rewards.

It sounds very much like you are dealing with someone who is using a MODDED copy of Sword & Shield to which I didn't skip: I just don't care about. I am of the option that if you have to go that far - you are not even playing the same game any more.

This is also semi-achievable through Promoted Raids at this time. In the future, it may even be fully achievable through Promoted Raids. There's 4 sets of data downloaded when a Wild Area News update occurs. These four data blocks are stored in your save file AND on a special file internally in the Switch (akin to the EXDATA on the 3DS.) Unfortunately, unlike the 3DS EXDATA, we do not have tools for extracting those files from the Switch with Homebrew apps. When the game is offline, it will use the four blocks of data internally on the Switch to check for corruption to the save file's copy and will overwrite them. (This was confirmed with tools available to edit the encounters table.)

I did a search through the entire pkhex discord and supposedly clique-y discords with hacked raids are the only ones that have guides on how to do it. Supposedly you MUST extract and edit the rom using pknx and edit the raids as the blocks in the save file don't get applied when you go online. One of the devs on projectpokemon have already said modifying encounter data in blocks won't get you anywhere and it makes sense that pknx would be an ideal tool for people to make these raids.

Of course, I have no online and so no incentive to investigate further.

There's a guide here
Thanks! I came across that guide, and the other one linked within too. I have a lot of experience using pknx, but I'm currently having issues getting nxdumptool to work and making a fresh extract.

I'm hoping to host a raid over local, rather than online. You think it'd have the same issues? Or create the same flags for banning for all participants?

Nippo's guide mentions using Edizon codes to accomplish the same thing (god egg, x999 items for all participants). It seemed odd to me, and it didn't really seem like a viable option...but it was in the guides so I'd thought I'd come here and ask if anyone had more of a scoop.

I suppose I'll work on getting nxdumptool to work for me again and go that route. I wonder if I misunderstood Nippo saying "the Edizon method is by far the easiest".

Either way, thanks for the info!

Maybe you can use hactool on your computer to extract the files if you can dump the actual nsp/xci or something, though I generally have to google around for a guide first because things can get... complicated. Unfortunately I don't have much experience in this area in specifically dumping everything as either as communities specifically orientated around hacking tend to share files that have already been dumped.

Because cheat codes can actually modify files from the game romfs/exefs. The two examples I think of are ACNH hack check because cheats can actually modified the files within the game to achieve the effect (thus affecting the hash of the file which the hack detection checks for) and a user on this forum managing to make a cheat code that could effectively act as a romhack modifying a file in Fire Emblem.

I wonder if I misunderstood Nippo saying "the Edizon method is by far the easiest".
The hacking raid discords are probably sharing things like cheat codes and charging money for people to enter them also. Haha....

Edizon codes to accomplish the same thing

Due to the way the encounters work in the game, the same codes work on Wild/Eggs/Mystery Gifts/Raids. I have hosted no shortage of Mew Raids online & offline on all the versions of the game using only codes. The Raids can break due to being in semi-hacked state while in being raided but it does work. It has worked since the base game.

I have NEVER seen a single code for editing Raid rewards however it should work. From a game programming stance, it's identical. The non-host player's rewards are based upon a table transmitted with the Raid itself as opposed IDs for in-game referrence tables (which would prevent this ever being possible ~ cheats/modded wouldn't matter.) It should not matter if the Raid's rewards OR while the game is active with codes. (The only thing missing for this to be proven out is the codes themselves.)

Always down for learning new stuff. I'll give it a whorl, thanks.

ahh that's pretty awesome. I admit, developing cheat codes aren't really my thing. I'm more into the romhack side of things. So if the romfs/exefs is currently working, I'll try and figure that out.

Oh awesome! Good to know, thanks. I doubt I'll find it on my own, but it'll be fun to learn new skills. If I find anything, I'll be sure to report back.

I wanna know why the "Always Encounter" Cheat has so many instructions being patched.

It patches 4 instructions involving the Species ID and 3 instructions involving the Form ID, however I did some research, and only the 2nd Species ID instruction patch is needed, the others are all unnecessary and/or redundant, I haven't tested forms but I would imagine the same applies.

Here's an example I used to test this;

Code:
[Always Encounter Mewtwo (Test) (Hold R)]
04000000 00770A4C B9402A61
80000080
04000000 00770A4C 528012C1

I wanna know why the "Always Encounter" Cheat has so many instructions being patched.

It patches 4 instructions involving the Species ID and 3 instructions involving the Form ID, however I did some research, and only the 2nd Species ID instruction patch is needed, the others are all unnecessary and/or redundant, I haven't tested forms but I would imagine the same applies.

Here's an example I used to test this;

Code:
[Always Encounter Mewtwo (Test) (Hold R)]
04000000 00770A4C B9402A61
80000080
04000000 00770A4C 528012C1
20000000

did you check the stats of the pokemon too? my guess is that the original code patches all references of a encountered pokemon to make it seem like a legit encounter. i know from older pokemon games, some encounter codes only cnanged the pokemon but not the stats. so let's say you encountered a pidgey, but wanted bulbasaur. you would encounter a bulbasaur but it would still be a pidgey stat wise.

No cheat for max mushrooms? Tried the all items but not working for it
I’m looking for max mushroom codes too
Use the "999x Item on Pickup" cheat.
Give the mushroom to a pokemon (to hold). Then take it back so it goes back to your inventory. Done. 999 mushrooms.

What code do you have for 999x pickup. I tried one doing what you said and the max mushroom just disappeared when i went to put it in my bag,

Does anyone happen to know how to force a raid den pokémon to be level 100 and have max EVs across the board?

The encounter level sector of memory with all the other encounters codes has never been mapped out or made available by those who hunt codes. (It should be in the same general area of memory as the Gender/Nature/Ability/IVs as we have codes.)

Without modding Sword & Shield, the only Raids in which the Level 100 is possible with is Promoted Raids via PKHeX. The issue with this is that you cannot host these without Sword & Shield attempting to revert the Promoted Raid data from a secondary save file on the Switch itself if you are online (otherwise it will just try to update with the newest online if you are online) thus erasing the PKHeX edit.

Ultimately, if you want a harder solo experience... modding is likely the only real option.
