Are ya able to make the TMs like in BW like HMs? So that you are able to use TMs how many times you want? That would be interesting ;D (And great)
I tried, but my ideas didn't work D:
Have you considered just adding 99 copies of each TM where you find them? Like you could see psychic on the ground and when you interact with it it would be like the 50 rare candies in the giant chasm in BB/VW. It's not a perfect fix or anything, but it would be good enough for me
It was something I had considered, but my reason for getting rid of it was kind of dumb; I thought it looked really untidy. :X That said, the selling argument is a very, very good point. Though if I lower the prices, then they might be too easy to buy from the Pokémon Marts... bit of a toughie, there. Although being able to use TMs infinitely is nice; I was doing a Black Nuzlocke recently and it really helped there. Decisions, decisions...
^ That was my thinking. Just change it to give 99 of them so it's essentially unlimited, dunno how you'd get through 99 of each.
About the difficulty, it's just right I think too. it is easier than Omega, and it's easier than your current Blaze/Volt is, it's about the same as Blaze/Volt was when you released it. I re-downloaded it and found the hack to be a lot more difficult now than it was.
One thing annoying about it, is that it seems like near every pokemon for gym leaders and rival battles use Toxic then spam Protect and that's really annoying. in addition to that it seems most of them have a thunder move. Thunderpunch or Thunderbolt, and I'm not really keen on giving Pokemon moves they can't learn without breeding. But overall it's fine.
Yeah, I admit I probably went a bit overboard with the ToxiStall since it was the only thing I could think of that would work for a lot of Pokés. As for the Thunder moves... I didn't even notice that, haha. I might try and tone it down a little sometime.
Special surprise :3 Hopefully you got the reference?
Oh and there was something I TOTALLY forgot to mention in the documents; after receiving the Earth Badge, go to the radio in Tohjo Falls and interact with it. You can get yourself a little present.
Only one present? But it's hard to choose!
What were the other ones? I got the Dragonite
Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Metagross or Garchomp are your options. Basically, one psuedo-legend.
Dray, one other thing you might think about editing is the accuracy of Fly and the power of Dig. In your B/W hacks, Fly had an accuracy of 100, and Dig had a power of 100. It would be nice to have that back.
Mm, that might help, particularly since EQ is so late in the game... On a side note, I kind of wonder whether I should be leaving the attack changes in the Classic version or not.
I've mentioned the freezes already. Storm Silver Classic, on a DSTWO with the latest firmware, on a 3DS with the latest firmware. Normal HG/SS works fine.
I'm guessing this is because SS Classic and SS Complete have different game IDs, as compared to SG Classic and SG Complete which have the same ID.
To be honest, I have no idea what causes it. Although I would've thought the DSTWO would run it perfectly. Hm o-o;
As someone pointed out on the youtube video, the game doesn't work with cyclods, but your previous HG hack did. Any idea why that is, and when, if ever, it will be fixed? I've been anticipating this for a while. I love all your hacks and HG/SS are my favorite games, so combining the two is great. I've been playing a little bit on desmume, which works, aside from the occasional freeze, but it's just not as enjoyable as playing it on the DS.
As far as difficulty goes, it seems a little easy. Several of the gym leaders have pre-evolved versions of their pokemon that just seem out of place. I was expecting morty to be hard, but with all those pre-evo ghosts it was a pushover. Bugsy and Chuck seem to have the right amount of difficulty, offering challenging fights. Jasmine is another one that just seems weak in comparison, literally steamrolled with a single fire attack, while being at a 4 level disadvantage.
Also, it seems picking up the lagging tail after fighting the team rocket double battle, and then going into your inventory afterwards seems to freeze the game.
Well, hopefully. There's something I'm banking on that will hopefully work, but the whole patch stuff worries me a bit. I'll probably look into it more at a later date.
Yeah, I agree the pre-evolutions are a little underwhelming; Morty was an annoying one really since most of the Pokémon that I felt fit him evolved too late to be an appropriate evolved form on his team. If I wasn't doing the whole six Pokémon thing it wouldn't be as much of a problem, but since I am... yeah. Bit unpleasant.
I have a feeling I need to rip up the whole Route 47 event and try it again. I really, really wish I knew what made it so unstable.
the electrizer can be picked up three times and you can't interact with the seadra in blackthorn citys pokémon center
That Electirizer is really weird, isn't it? Both noted.
I made an account just to thank Drayano for this awesome hack. It's really, really good. Today I beated the E4, with Feraligatr, Charizard, Donphan, Scyther, Jolteon and Gengar.
I also beated Brock and Misty, and now I'm back in Vermilion City, but there's a bug I think.
I enterd in the Pokémon Fan Club, talked with everyone, I got the Rare Candy and when I got out the house, there was Steven, who was standing. I tried to talk with him but he didn't move or react. Any tip...? >_>
It's a known glitch from something I accidentally left in the game.
For all those who answered the difficulty question: thank you, answers appreciated!
edit: I'll see about making a 1.05 that fixes all the particularly probleamtic bugs, and then once I'm done with my exams (June 14th is my last one) I'll work on polishing the rest, investigating the CycloDS thing etc, but I haven't really got the time to look into things too much at this moment in time.
