I tried in desmume the same thing with events, and crashes in like 62 events.
Also, i tried patched rom, and didn't crashed in like 120 events.

The address are ok, but something is wrong, so people, try to find what is the real problem.
Maybe is the address for the final hex code or the ID.

Did you try comparing hex values with Rudolphs v2 patch?

Yes, i used the v2 patch.

So, we must use the patched game + these extinfo.dat in order to get the game to work?

If so, why. If the patches have been entered, why should the patch game need to be used.

In the rudolph HGSS topic, only was the v2 patch.
Maybe that patch was still v2, can you upload the 2 differents versions to test it what changes?

Tested the v2 patch alone , no freeze patched rom, tested the original rom PKSS with extinfo.dat still freeze

Mabe looking at older games between (J) and (U) rom might tell you what the offset diffrences are , Mabe...

Pokemon HG still freezes
Pong latest link made it freeze when a egg was hatching and tyrant patch froze when i was in union room

It froze again after leaving a room if u geting from a route to a city

Well, im using DSTT 1.17a12 + YSMenu + Moonshell 2.06 + latest extinfo.dat, savlib.dat and infolib.dat with an EUR (Spanish) patched ROM i found. 3 hours in, 1 badge, and no freezes till now.

Perhaps something is wrong with the 3rd bit, with just the single E0 code. Or maybe, a cheat needs to be accompanied.

I have no idea, so I am just suggesting.

I dont want to patch my game because my pokemon wont be legit and i wont be able to trade i think

And this also can change the dstt if pong and tyrant can make the rom work 100% then dstt future can be secure

We need to still works in the AP fix for extinfo.dat, i'm trying myself, but without lucky.
Please, all people that can work in it, try to make the fix workable.

you can use the Rudolph patch. its 100% fine and it wont make your pkm hacked. unless you use cheats
