So this works 100%?

If so, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Not likely, if just plugging in the info from the OP into the extinfo.dat was all that was needed to be done then it would have been done by now.

For starters the gameids from the post aren't correct. For example, Soul uses BF701465 for the infolib. However if you use that in the extinfo it doens't work either.

Just hexing the rom directly does though, so who knows. I don't actually plan on playing the game so the amount of time I spent on this was extremely short.

Tried the JP Game Fixer Action Replay code, does not work.

Who knows, maybe now there is a patch out elixirdream will release a AR cheat fix?

We will have to wait. By the way, I didn't bother with the no$ because emulators are different to carts, that's why I moved to the JP AR first.

He did the same thing that I did and I am using my own extinfo.

The extinfos don't work because, as you yourself stated, the cheat needs to be accompanied to the extinfo.

Thus, how would the cheat be found considering you know everything there is to know regarding this topic.

well how do expect people to learn without failing

did anyone try the (U) black screen fix codes i posted?

Just finished testing, froze again at the same state.

And by the way, in order to eliminate options you must test them. This is what we are doing. Who knows, maybe the AP code posted in the OP may not be correct, or maybe we are not entering it right into the extinfo, or maybe all we need is a cheat. But what we are doing is trying to solve this, and you are just criticizing everything we try to do.

I'm out, I'll be on tomorrow and will continue to help if it hasn't been solved.

I don't want to argue, but it seems you didnt listen to me,including the other guy(partial)

Basically if you open extinfo.dat with TTdT you'll see all of the fixes are based on AR codes, what this means, the hex codes are converted(or whatever you wanna call it).Take a look of the pic i showed you, that's the fix for Pokemon HG/SS J i think, not sure.

Also don't call me an idiot, take a look at things first and understand
