So I have a dragoniar level 54 and I really like its ability shed skin... Here's the problem it evolves in 1 level at 55 but I looked to see if it keeps its shed skin ability and it does not I'm thinking about giving it an ever stone and never evolving it but I really would like a dragonite idk what to do can some of your opinions?

You could always catch another Dratini and train that one to level 55. That way, you can keep your Dragonair with its shedding ability.

Yeah we'll what if I just stock up on full heals? Then I could evolve it anyway

save before it evolves, if its ability shed skin changes to anyting else then reload you save and give it the ever stone.
but i have never had a pokemon change ability after it evolved

Yes it does change I looked it up

Edit: I decided to just do it but I have 1 more question... Where is the best place o train besides the elite four I beat it once but I would get wrecked of I try it again...

Dragonite's stats and movepool are well worth getting rid of Shed Skin.

I prefer Dragonite over Shed Skin. Just me.
