Pokemon complex crystall gbc rom hack question...

my pokemon are all lvl 25 and the 3rd gym leaders are 25 and 28 and i cant train past lvl 30 or they wont obey since you need the 4th badge for anything over lvl 30 to obey so what do i do? it is supposed to be harder i didnt think this hard though...

I guess no one knows... I'll just have to go over level 30 and hope for the best..

sure you can train you pokemon over lvl 30 i always did and i never had any problems with them, but i would always have them at around 28 or 29.
so just don't go crazy and train them to a very high LVL.
i always trained my Quilava to LVL 29 or so and then i would challenge Whitney(3rd gym Leader)
