I just installed a 1TB HDD into my PlayStation 3, a well needed upgrade from the pitiful 80gb drive i once had, however, i can't install the firmware, it gets stuck on %98 preparing to update, i've left my PlayStation 3 on all night, to no avail, i've tried formatting the drive from the console, but it gets stuck on "Restoring System Information" or whatever it says, it takes so long that it actually says 'oh um this is taking way too long, you can turn off the console if you want.' so yeeeeah.
