Honestly there's nothing special about cable television. After a few weeks of watching free television (i.e. your local networks), you'll forget what cable was like and get used to it. There's this thing called DTV (the D meaning Digital, and TV meaning television) that's going to be mandatory next month (unless Obama gets his way, and I hope he does, and it gets pushed back a few months (I don't have a converter box in my room, so I watch analog)). You get a cable clear picture, but the signal quality is utter shit. It's like watching a corrupted video file (i.e. the distortion, sound missing, and often a "weak signal" box floating around on a black screen, that or it'll say "no program", seriously, DTV sucks).

I forgot what I was getting at...

Um, I guess welcome to the club?
