Hacking Opening SD Menu freezes the Wii

Hi

I have the following problem

Every time i try to enter the SD menu from the main menu my Wii freezes.
Yesterday i copied some channels from the System menu to the sd card.
Now when i try to manage my channels on the SD card the Wii also freezes.

Could it be that it is just my SD card that is causing this problem?

Could this be fixed with a reinstall off the waninkoko 4.0 update (if possible at all)


Please advise me and tell me what you think.

Do you have Bannerbomb in your "private" directory?

When no, try to format the SD and start again. (Save the Data before)

I do indeed have the bannerbomb dol in the root off the sd card. Although i only use it to mod wii's for people. Mine was originally modded with the twilight hack.

I will remove it tonight, backup the sd card, format it and put everything back.

You don't really have to format it. Just getting rid of that folder with the bannerbomb title id in your private folder should be enough. If you have other channels or save games on the card as well then make sure you delete the right folder. I think the bannerbomb folder is like aktn or something.
