Awesome :grog:

What was the deleted SX OS tread about, I'm guessing something to do with it being cracked but didn't see it before it was removed.

It was a fake crack that actually bricked people's Switch systems.
I prefer this to be discussed in PM if you guys don't mind.

I'm sorry if I'm asking, I really don't have the time right now to read through the pages, but what seems to be the deal with the different ReiNX builds that everyone is talking about?

Apparently the build that is floating around contains signature patches.

There's a build with signature patches, allowing for game NSP installation. For DLC and updates, we need one of the following:
  1. LayeredFS support with signature patches in order to be able to run DevMenu and installed updates and/or DLC
  2. An NSP version of DevMenu that can be installed
Edit: Updates, of course, can be installed separately with Hekate and LayeredFS

How do people with 3.0.0 firmwares even get Devmenu or w/e to install shit in the first place? I cannot go online to download anything from the Eshop. :P

You can use Tinfoil to install NSP files without updating. It's a homebrew application.

Just a noob question is it possible to use NXFreeshop with SX OS ?
Yes but please do not hold any of us responsible if you are banned for using it.

Unofficially yes, but they are approved by Rei so they are legit.

can someone make a tutorial please? just confused right now :(
Yes please. I have not paid attention to the scene in a long time and it evolved so fast it's completly overwhelming to be honest. Right now I'm trying to keep up and seems to be a bit difficult. If someone could create or point out to any tutorial for beginners would be much appreciated.

Yeah, that was what I had originally. You need to install the arm package. If you're using linux and installed it with pacman, then use the "dkp-pacman -Sl" command to find the name of the ARM package. Then use "sudo dkp-pacman -S <name of package>" to install it. (Unless you have a normal pacman installation, in which case you don't need the (dkp) in either command.)
install 3ds-dev as well ;)
I just gave in and booted up my old Mint Distro and got it.
