well do you installed anything out of the ordinary? like a custom homebrew channel theme/color or some outdated iso58?
I hate to come back just to say the same thing over again, but the best thing you can do is go read the stickied Definitive vWii Hacking Guide from top to bottom. I would very highly recommend doing everything in that guide after reformatting your SD to Fat32. DO NOT uninstall the HBC, just do everything past that section.
