No because you need to boot into RCM every time the console is turned off in order to load Hekate. AutoRCM simulates this effect to some degree, however it doesn't give you the freedom of booting without Hekate thus not making it a true coldboot.

Whoops, forgot to answer your question. Er, we don't know yet. Bans started happening before we were able to actually restore our NAND properly (the previous method was less safe). Theoretically, it would be safer to use a NAND backup prior to using any hacks but there is no data to support this yet. I personally would advise you to do this but keep in mind that it is not a good long-term approach to avoid being banned as the Switch's eMMC may eventually stop accepting any restorations.

Yes, repeated full NAND restoring will induce flash wear-out on the eMMC module. Its not realistic to keep re-flashing your entire NAND chip over and over, on top of the usual wear and tear it will experience from being used normally.

I originally wanted to do this but I ended up not doing it for 2 reasons: one, timing could be related to either events in the hacking scene or what the latest firmware is at the time. Not to mention that if you don't check regularly if you are banned or not, its not as accurate an indicator. Two, I got a bit lazy because I prioritized entering last known dates for those who are not banned but for those who are banned because someone could go from not being banned to being banned. My issue was I didn't want to make a new column of this as I put that info next to the username already and there's not a lot of space if I want to keep things as streamlined as possible.

Regardless, if more people want to see that type of stuff, I'll just stick the dates at the very end for those who are curious. I have all of the reports saved in case I ever need to revisit the data so all I would need to do is update everyone who are banned.

When you get a chance, I would recommend testing this out. I want to verify that Nintendo is sticking to console banning and not account banning. Just try downloading something free like Fortnite or Pokemon Quest.

He is able to access the eShop from his computer because his account is not banned. This has nothing to do with revoking CDN access. This is to ensure that if he were to theoretically un-link his Nintendo Account from his Switch, purchase a new one, and link it to that one instead, he will retain all of his purchases/downloads.

He injected foreign certificates into his backups which is not safe to do whatsoever, even if the title IDs match.

@Dark_Hades To me, the most interesting thing about your case is that blocking that GDPR URL did not stave off a ban meaning it may not be as useful as we had hoped. As always, thank you for your contribution!
