The old injection games used "old" ios. (ios 33 probably)

I don't remember a virtual console game which can emulate these games.
Nintendo will release some more virtual console games I suppose, maybe it's possible then...

Not likely, the inject-able games have a size limit(mem2 limit?), the later released Neo Geo VC games have AES encryption; unfortunately these are the ones that break the Wii's memory limit(like The Last Blade 2, +65MB). People say they run directly off the nand(as virtual memory) but these games run perfectly in sneek so it's unknown how they work. Those two games you mentioned are respectively around 88.5 MB and 85.3 MB, which is way out of bounds.

It's a bit sad seeing the Wii could easily emulate NG games, the closest thing to making this a reality would be supporting virtual memory on the homebrew emus like RA.
