Well yeah, it plays at two different resolutions and quality settings depending on whether it's docked or portable. That places it squarely into hybrid territory. Nobody's confused about what Switch does, it's been clearly marketed from the beginning.

EDIT: wtf, EA Sports said they'd decide on future games depending on how well FIFA does on Switch, but they're already advertising NBA2K18. Lying dickweasels.

but i use my switch 99% in handheld mode.
for some reason i view it as a complete handheld even though it is a console ._.

most of their ads were very cringy, i totally agree with you XD

Someone here misses the PS Vita commercials... wait, did that system have commercials? It could be worse, at least these tell people what it is, unlike the Wii U commercials.

Probably 60-40 docked-portable for me.

An ad for a portable console has "Take your games wherever you go" as the tagline? I am shocked. Stop the presses.
To be fair, this is the first time we have real console-grade games on a portable. The 3DS looked like PSX graphics and thus felt way behind modern consoles. Vita got like halfway there, but in the end probably just launched too early.
