Natsume has announced a new Harvest Moon game, and the platforms it's about to release for might be a shocker to some. Titled Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, the game will "encompass twenty years of spirit that has made the franchise what it is today". Light of Hope will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, but no specific window was given. The game will also be available to both press and the public at Natume's booth at E3 2017, with a Switch version being playable from June 13-15.

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players begin the game as they set out looking for a fresh start and new surroundings. During their voyage, their ship is hit by a monsoon and goes down. As they drift into a small harbor town, now in a shambles from the storm, it will be up to the player to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse…but it won’t be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, players will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town!

I have yet to find a single modern Harvest Moon game that I like.... All of them have been pretty disappointing.

Anyways Natsume has yet to produce a single HM game that I've liked so we will see.

Seeds of Memories is decent for a mobile game, but it's pretty expensive (relatively speaking).

Yeah,probably. While this has farming and farming and... farming, Stardew Valley has farming, mining, dungeons, collections, official mod support and much more.
