It's worth it for the face-tracking 3D and the c-stick (c-stick works surprisingly well for camera movement actually) but it's too bad US only gets it in white and bundled with AC:HHD which IMO is a game that would be more fitting on mobile phones or on the eShop, to me it looks like typical casual crap and not really worth full retail price. Especially when you need the amiibo cards to get the most out of the game, and those aren't cheap either if you want the full collection.
I have a feeling they're doing it in order to sell more copies of a game they know might not sell very well on its own. Although I expect them to release the non-bundle version at some point.I agree wholeheartedly with you on this. I've always wanted a "standard" New 3DS (ended up buying an XL model just to play Xenoblade). Yet when Nintendo finally brings over the model I want, they do it only in this weird-ass bundle with a game I have no interest in. And to top it off, all combined that bundle ends up costing more than the XL model with the bigger screen.
If I were a cynical cat, I'd say that Nintendo is doing this solely to provide justification.
