akta, solved your problem yet? cause I have the same problem...
nothing to do in closed room in the west - talked to priest after killing undead + orb -
townsfolk are back but they have nothing new to say...

Yeah solved it by restarting, this time I went to the pub to talk to ethon before killing the zombies and once i killed them all, talked to the priest, then back to the pub without destroying the orb.

And i could move on

I'm on Act II and think the game is very good.
Much more fun than any of he LOTR games IMO.

I was having the same problem...
This means however that I'll loose my character i've been boosting constantly while looking where to go further

Oh well, so the game is buggy, another reason not to play it... I wonder again if I should del it...

I like the game though its easy to kill big monsters just by getting them to the edge of their moving area, they will stand there stunned for some several seconds, enough time to kill

Very, extremely, dissapointed. I reached the final boss (or so I think) A female warrior up in this high tower. Every single time I beat her the game freezes, im guessing this is the version of the game that was ripped.

It makes me very sad.

I finished this one yesterday (I was motivated by the arrival of Metroid).

In general, I enjoyed the game. The writing was only fair. The battle
was mind-numbingly simple. If you have a shield and any one-handed sword,
you can pretty much kill anything. It gets a bit hairy when there are multiple
adversaries, but if you are good at running around a bit, it really doesn't
pose a problem. Wish I knew how to effectively use all those amulets and
rings. I made myself stronger so I could lug around tons of healing potions
and arrows.

But, I was VERY disappointed in the ending. Geez, I play for a few hours
of my life and that is all I get? That pissed me off. At least let me cash in
all my loot and buy a hooker or something, right?

I've played worse, so no real whining here.
