1. do i have to convert them to .neo, like neoDS?
2. does it emulate mame games, or the neogeo console?
3. how well does it run?

yeah iv'e mentioned that loads of times nowQUOTE said:this emulators loads roms zipped with a .rom or .bin extension...... .bin seems to work better.
check in the romsrc for the file list required to play a certain game.

do us a favor, stop crying, be a man and read the readme included with the emulator
QUOTE-[ INSTALLATION ]-
Extract the zip on to your SD card :
/sd/apps/gxgeo
/sd/gxgeo/conf
/sd/gxgeo/romrc
/sd/gxgeo/roms
/sd/gxgeo/save
The romrc contains information about ROM sets, if you only
put the .rc files for the ROMs you have in that folder gxgeo
will load faster
Your ROMs (zipped) and BIOS (unzipped) files should go in /sd/gxgeo/roms
required files
000-lo.lo (ng-lo.rom)
sfix.sfx (ng-sfix.rom)
country files (neo-geo.rom)
usa_2slt.bin - USA
vs-bios.rom - Japan
asia-s3.rom - Asia
sp-s2.sp1 - Europe
system files
aes-bios.bin - A.E.S:
uni-bios.rom - Uni Bios

check if the .rc files for that roms are in the /romrc directory
check if the zipped rom files in the /roms directory are valid zip files
obviously, .zip and .rc filenames should match (in your case, samsho4.zip & svcplus.zip), as well as .zip content and .rc description (222-xx.bin, svc-xx.rom & svc_xx.rom), beware of underscore and files extension...

because it's a different emulator ? you know, like two different programs with different compatibilities and features

Yeah that's right, there is a conning way that can handle larger roms, with some sort of app that gets all the roms graphics into a file, and gxgeo can handle it, just the graphics go a bit bad, blizzo told me, best not to do it, goes fucked up, hopefully a new release sometime.QUOTE said:25mbs zipped is the maximum the emulator can handle at the moment.... bigger than that will result as code dump.
