Hacking need step by step instructions for 3.1E to 4.1E Update

Hi All

Hope someone can give me a good description/manual on how to get a Virgin 3.1E Wii to 4.1E safely

It needs to be noob proof as i have to tell someone to do it far away.
Also if possible point me to the needed files.

I not a noob, i modded a lot off Wii's already, but since 4.2 came out i cant just tell them to update via the official way.

I have the waninkoko updaters 4.0 and 4.1, but i read somewhere it is not possible to go straight to 4.0 from 3.1

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

This manual will only help if you update to 4.2.

I really would like to know how i can update a 3.1E wii to 4.1E.
So what exact steps would i need to do to accomplish this.

start at the "3.X - 4.1 Method *recommended" tells you all you'll need to know used it a few times and works a treat
