Narrative adventure game 'Edengate: The Edge of Life" to launch this October
In a press release today, indie publisher Hook has announced that the upcoming title Edengate: The Edge of Life will launch in a few weeks' time. This dark narrative adventure game is written by Matthew Seiji Burns, Director/Writer of the visual novel Eliza, while the soundtrack is composed by Laryssa Okada, composer for Manifold Garden. Edengate: The Edge of Life was first announced during Tokyo Game Show and more details about the plot and pricing were made available today:
Mia, a young and promising biologist, awakes in an abandoned hospital with no memory of how she got there. With no other traces of life, Mia tries to piece together the events that brought her to the hospital and unravel the mystery of the now desolate city of Edengate. What happened to her? What happened to the world she remembers? Join Mia on her emotional journey to discover any traces of life and the terrifying events that have befallen the once vibrant city.
