my n2ds xl top screen had dead pixel so i break it :l and now it wont boot

hello, first of all i know what i did is dumb but my n2ds xl top screen was broke (a lot of dead pixel) and i mainly use emulator so i didn't really care of the top screen so i think it was a good idea to break it with my hand to have a gameboy advance like, but now when i boot my n2ds i have the power led for a few second and it suddenly stop working, the orange connector for the screen is broken, is it possible to make it boot again ? thank for your help

It is a short circuit as it has component on the top screen section, that why it was working fine before you took the screen off.

Put back the top screen and the rest of it components, and hope that it work, you could have just swap the top screen for a new screen.

You could try a 2DS XL Macro mod, requires some soldering though.
Unfortunately i can't post links but if You google "Finally - The 2DSXL Macro!" You should be able to find it, it's a reddit post from January 2024.

Breaking things when you have no idea what you're doing is a terrible idea, actually.

People have done something like this before and if you take the time to do some proper research you may find more information.

The only thing you can do is either replacing the top screen or make a gameboy slide, but you'll have to solder
