Gaming My 360 died

My 360 just made a popping sound and turned off. And now it doesn't turn back on.

Does the power supply light stay on when the 360 is off? I think the power supply might have died.

Can I buy just the power supply from somewhere? If so where?

EDIT: My power strip had somehow worked itself out of the wall outlet just enough to lose the connection. So essentially I just needed to plug it in. I feel like an idiot now.
