Homebrew Music/ Video Player for Wii

I've been seeing a lot of talk with this homebrew and that hombrew. I downloaded MPlayerWii_rodries and had music playing great, but the .wmv vids wouldn't play w/o doing some sort of dump.

I guess it'll be also looking for a good DVD player (just to see if it works).

Try mplayer ce. It's the only real option so far:

Geexbox is the only mediaplayer that recognizes my HD, so that's what I use.

Now that this topic is being discussed...

I just recently download teh latest mplayer from Homebrew browser (coz i hear this was the only one that supports DVD)

but when i put a retail DVD, nothing happens...?

You installed cios 202 or dvdx just like the directions said ofc. So that's weird.

You need Mplayer CE 0.75 with a DVDx stub installed with IOS254 in order to play dvds.
