Hacking Modified SoftChip that works for Rock Band

I've read this entire thread and still have no clue what this does

I have a backup Rock Band and I have the Rock Band instruments. All of them. What exactly will this thing do for me?

Or what does this thing do in general? =\

It lets you play backups/originals and customs of Rock Band. So this is good for you because it'll let you run the backup and use the instruments. Unless you have a modchip already, in which case, you don't need it.

Thanks for the heads up. I do have a modchip and was already wondering what you people were complaining about, since it worked for me. Now I get it

Have fun with it. I do hope for some customs though, Guitar Hero seems to get all the fun right now

Well, I've got some good news and some bad news. Good news was I was able to make a channel. Bad news, for some reason it's a blank channel! Meaning it doesn't have a banner, icon or music. The channel boot up just fine (it give you a code dump when you hit the Home button because it's suppose to go back to the HBC).

I'll try again...

If anyone wants the temporary blank channel just say

I really need someone to either inject the dol into a wad or do the whole thing for me (with my images/music ofcourse) since my computer is really dumb!

if someone wanted to compile r59 or r60 with this method, they'd basically have an app-launcher superior to the gamma one.

what about those game like Mortal Kombat and SSX .... ?
i tried this with SSX but i think i did something wrong at least if it does work with those games as well.

I don't know if there are many.

But it should work on all customs.

This cIOS is good for all games that IOS36 supports plus Rock Band.
