Micro SD problem

I have a Samsung SGH-J150. I encountet a problem in the micro sd slot. The micro sd card does not stay inside its slot. It just springs back all by itself. The instruction booklet, the website and the shopkeeper have no clue or information about. Any suggestion with a strong reasoning would be helpful.

I forgot to state ! This problem did not occur in any other of my phones which included a samsung corby and a nokia e72

If it's springing back out, try pushing it in deeper until the spring gets "cached". Afterwards, to take it out, push it in again to uncache it and it'll spring back out.

Well i tried that. It just has to spring back ! And if I try to do it using too much force, th micro sd beaks. So in any case, my micro sd doesn't stay inside.

Then it could be there's some kind of obstacle inside that's preventing it hitting the cache.

Not likely, but it's possible.

Im sorry but none of your suggestions worked. Are there any more thoughts that might clear out this problem

Have you tried another microsd card - perhaps the 'hook' on the card has rounded off slightly preventing the 'catch' in the phone to actually grab it properly ??
