I actually had a quick question regarding the nand rebuild. I've rebuilt it to 6.1 through the use of another switch. I would actually like to update the firmware to 6.2 as that is what was on the switch to begin with. Would it be possible to modify the prodinfo partition to work on another switch then update it to 6.2 and then change back the information to the defect switch?

If yes how would I go about things?
You can't use a NAND on another Switch but 6.1 is bootable through RCM mode.

I'm talking about rebuilding the nand with the keys from the new switch. Then updating the new switch to 6.2. Then rebuild only the prodinfo partition with the keys form the old switch and try to boot firmware 6.2 on the old switch that way.

But it seems it would not make a difference anyway as it is a hardware fault.
