Hardware M2 Dummy adapter for psp help

Been a while since I posted, but I decided to go try getting the ultimate setup for my psp go, which involves using the m2 dummy adapter by kouchan. So I bought one kit and tried to apply it about a year ago, but it failed each time I applied the tape to it. Now I'm trying again, but I don't have the tape. Do I need the conductive tape to get it to work? If not, what can I use? Or do I need to buy another kit because the contacts on it are not working.     @Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.

    I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
