Looking for information on making a patch for OOT3D

Hi,
I am curious if anyone knows how to look into making a patch for oot3d.

I understand the oot3d modding community is barren and i want to make a patch that fixes links rolling mechanic when he jumps from a high place. The problem in this game is he doesnt unless he drops from a high place instead of jumping.

I know it sounds a bit nitpicky but does anyone know where i can get the information i need for a step forward in a process like this?

You could maybe try the folks over on the OoT3D randomiser Discord. I'm pretty sure that's the most active modding project for the game.
