I have uploaded countless saves from emulators, played either on my PC or on consoles with custom firmware, and uploaded the finished saves to the actual cartridges with no issue. However, I could never get it to work with my Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon save, and it's been bugging me and I opted to finally try again. With no luck.
If I use Checkpoint on my 3DS with CFW to backup a save from the FE:SD cart, the size is 256kb. Taking any of my emulator saves (from no$cash, TWiLight Menu++, etc. ) and changing the .sav file to RAW yields a 512kb file. Forcing the size to 256kb through various methods (using the PC emulators, https://www.save-editor.com/tools/wse_ds_save_converter.html or https://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php) and restoring the save file doesn't work. I tried this years ago with my DS flashcart and similarly had no success. Does anyone have any advice for me? I've attached the save if anyone is interested and/or willing to help. I'd appreciate it.
