Lot of youtubers that made content "judged" inappropriate by YouTube had their videos demonetized. You talk about anything youtube doesn't approve you risk being demonetized. I'm not talking about things like pornography or another inappropriate things, what i'm saying is that if you don't have the same political views as Youtube you are in trouble there. Thats why you could have a Feminist naked march doing fine on YouTube but a video against that being demonetized or taken down very quickly. The same is on Facebook, i'm not a big fan of the Right Wing here, specially because their lack of logical arguments to almost any question, but lots of pages who some is purely satirical are on the version 3.0 to 6.0 (which is the amount of times Facebook had the page taken down) where on the left side by example this doesn't happen at all.

do you want me to just leave the temp would that make you happy
Nah dude, I have nothing against you. I just didn't know how to explain it nicely because you honestly do need to work on understanding that not everyone is trying to belittle you or attack you with what they're saying and even if someone is being a jerk to you, don't indulge them by saying stuff like what you've been saying.
No one deserves to be kicked off the temp unless they're a chronic asshole.

As others have said Youtube isn't violating the first amendment directly. But what needs to be looked at in social networks is discriminatory enforcement of guidelines and abusing monopoly which is fraud when it comes to a publicly traded company. Twitter for example is committing fraud when they call themselves a free-speech communications platform then enforces their guidelines with extreme bias.

Yes they can censor with a bias, what they can't do as a publicly traded company is claim they don't.

Youtube isn't quite as bad, the cuts to monetization are fairly across the board. The problem is Youtube has never made money, Google subsidizes it to the tune of billions which makes it so other platforms can't compete. This traditionally (and should imo) has been regulated as a predatory business practice.

Because it is a private platform, YouTube is not protected from government restriction under the First Amendment. Platforms must respect the values of free speech, but in order to keep the community safe, their regulations frequently strike a compromise. On private platforms, users' expression rights aren't unrestricted, reflecting intricate digital ethics.

An underrated opinion: While Bluesky as a platform is better than Twitter, Bluesky's userbase won't be better than Twitter as people are saying because everyone from the non-bootleg site are moving to the bootleg one expecting for themselves to change with their attitude, but that never works like that.
  • DragonMals @ DragonMals:
I will say though: Bluesky as a micro-blogging site? Needs a bit more oomph and I would officially like it better than Twiter. Can't even post gifs on that site, like what the fuck?
