It's just as original as your current username or those created (and often regretted) in 2009 and prior.

As for liking it, I figure it's a twist from both Wii and DS codenames, so it's good enough to me.

Like many, my username is also my old Xbox gamertag from like 2009. While I do like being called "Halo" and don't think I'll ever change that, I could care less about the "EliteLegend" part. Don't make your username something you'll later regret.

probably not a good thing to announce it first because now it might get taken before you can use it

a gamertag is not that big a deal unless you spell it wrong or something plus with money you can change it later
