ok, I went ahead and tested the latest Daedalus release (R13) on my PSP, to clear things up here.
Super Mario 64:
Without sound, I would get a full 30 FPS is less complicated areas, but once in a level, it would drop to around 15-20 FPS. The lowest I had was around 10FPS. Enabling sound didn't really hurt performance that much. It might have dropped 2-3 FPS, but that was about it.
Zelda:
Much, much worse. Once I was able to walk around the village, even without sound, I'd only get about 5-10 FPS. At best, it would hover around 8-10 FPS. Enabling sound would either drop it to 2-5 FPS, or in one case, kill the emulation altogether.
Also, graphical glitches make it hard to play in some spots. Namely, the areas where the background is just a still image. (like the very start in your house)
Smash Bros.:
Runs surprisingly well. Kept a frame rate of around 18-25 FPS most of the time. It would even get up around 50-60 FPS when there wasn't much going on. Again, enabling sound only dropped it around 3 FPS.
As for PSPTube, it's decent on speed. Watching videos goes quick enough, but downloading a full video can take a long time.
