Is there any good way to mirror Android screen to PC?

I want to play some of my phone emulators on my PC screen (since my PC sucks and can't run anything), so I was wondering if there is a good way to do this with just the USB cable. If not, I'll just pick up a Chromecast to play on my TV. I'm unrooted by the way and wish to remain so.

I don't notice any lag while watching movie through it. So I guess it should be ok.

now since i don't wanna make a thread... how bout vice-versa? How do i stream pc to my android phone (if possible) and i also don't have root

What phone? I'm looking into Kinoni on my Note8 and Win10 for streaming PC to phone. Haven't got it set up yet though. as far as from phone to PC, if it's Samsung, sidesync works kinda. Since I have a sammy tv, I cast to it, but LLAAAGGGG.
I haven't really looked into casting to a PC.
