Any downgraded parts of the NAND will cause an update prompt, so if you downgraded your DS Whitelist (or installed Bluecardfix,) or your browser, Nintendo will hassle you to update it.

I just had the same nag. Weird, I'd never heard of this until just now and now, someone else has experienced it.

Yea even things like deleting the Health and Safety App will result in a nag and stop certain online features from working properly due to "not being up to date"

Nope. Double check you have or haven't downgraded your Internet Browser, TWL_FIRM, or DS whitelist. If you have, consider spoofing the versions on them to 65535 to avoid nags in the future.

Thank you, that was my bad. I've also reported it asking for a title change, as the content within was useful and could be seen by others alerting them that an update nag, depending on the situation, may not mean a true update.
